Carol Pigott is a freelance training specialist with more than 12 years of experience as an adult instructor. Carol has a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in curriculum and classroom instruction. She has worked with many of the major adult educational facilities in the Southern California area as both an instructor as well as a curriculum designer.
Carol has won local, regional and national awards for her successes both in the classroom and in curriculum development. Her students have praised her as a huge part of their academic success as well as an inspiration. Carol has developed many innovative teaching strategies that incorporate a student-centered approach to differentiated instruction.
Besides teaching and instructional design, Carol has also developed several Train-the-Trainer programs to help new adult education instructors find their footing in the classroom by integrating standard teaching strategies with their own personalities and teaching potentials. Innover Training is Carol’s current project where she has developed online programs geared toward the adult learner in an allied health setting. Her HIPAA program as well as her Medical Assisting Refresher course is an innovative approach to quality continuing educational programs. She has online programs as well as classroom models to help serve everyone’s educational needs.
